What is The Fullbridge Experience?
The program will test you. There will be moments when, in spite of your best efforts, you will come up short. But only real challenge leads to real growth. Have no fear: the program is also empowering, deeply satisfying and plenty of fun.
Learn MoreI gained a completely new skill set that I would have not learned if I did not come here. I am so grateful for the camaraderie, knowledge, and conviction in future career goals.— Anthony Santa Maria, Cornell University ‘14
The Fullbridge Program is an intensive and transformative learning environment that prepares highly motivated undergraduates and recent graduates from all fields of study for a successful transition to the working world. Created and led by top executives and professors from elite business schools, the program transcends the traditional classroom structure in favor of a unique paradigm that actively engages students and translates directly to a business environment. A rigorous, highly immersive curriculum based on collaborative learning, practical exercises and e-learning modules is designed to simulate the real challenges of the workplace. The program's small student teams and hands-on coaching ensure that all participants receive the individualized instruction and mentoring they need to maximize the experience. They emerge with an important ability to connect personal passions and academic training with job prospects; new skills relevant to a global business context; and the confidence essential to pursue a brilliant career.
The Structure
Success at school is predicated on individual achievement, but in the working world, collaboration is required to get the job done. The transition to a team-focused work environment can be challenging for even the most accomplished student, so the Fullbridge Program places much-needed emphasis on this structure.
Each day is divided into two four-hour units, focused on specific areas of study. Units vary, and may include short readings, videos and individual or team exercises, often requiring research. Each day, assigned tasks must be accomplished within tight deadlines. The program is rigorous, but strategically placed humorous content keeps things lively. At 6pm, the day is over—no homework, no extensions, no exceptions.
The Fullbridge Program is designed to be accessible to students still in school, with sessions taking place during winter and over the summer. Participants are required to stay onsite during the program to take advantage of opportunities to interact with Fullbridge instructors and guest presenters, as well as with each other.
Over the course of this program, I learned how to listen to the ideas from other people, input my own ideas tactfully, and help contribute to the overall goal of the team project. Having team feedback with everyone helping each other really helped enhance the learning experience.- Patrick Pitoniak, Yale ‘12
