30m: Activity

Solo: 10m

Think of a recent decision you made—big or small.

Write down:

  • What influenced your choice? (gut feeling, first info you heard, past experience, etc.)

  • Identify one possible bias (e.g., confirmation, anchoring, recency, status quo).

  • Ask yourself: What would challenge or disprove this decision?

Small Group: 10m

In pairs discuss your decision and identified bias:

  • How might that bias have shaped the outcome?

  • What would you do differently with that awareness?

Debrief: 10m

Be prepared to answer the following:

  • Where in your work or team is bias most likely to sneak in unnoticed?

  • What’s one habit or checkpoint you can build to spot bias before it drives the decision?

  • What is one key takeaway from this hour you can apply right now?
